Saturday, September 20, 2008 if u are bored as i am now... you are reading what i type. Haha. Anyway... I am now at Torp Airport waiting to go london on board F35 Ryan Air at 9.45am. According to check in regulation, we are to check in 2hr before departure and that is 7.45am. And to reach the airport at this time, we arae suppose to take a bus at 5.45am or a train from central station around this time. However, the earliest train that leaves kringsjå is at 5.53am and it takes 17 mnutes to the central station. So, we had to take a train at 10.43 pm the previous night which results in us arriving here at around 12.30am.this means that we had 7hrs to ot or sleep. Let's talk about the journey here. Due to construction work on the track, we had to take a bus from oslo s to drammen which is around 40 minutes. i slept throughout the journey. From there, we switch to the train. The train is very comfortable! I want to sleep but have to guard against Hua Ling camera. But i did manage to get some rest. Upon reaching the station, which is really deserted, we were picked up by a taxi as only 3 of us alighted at this stop. Haha. Damn cool. But we see the meter jump like mad. It is jumping a kroner everyf ew seconds. Upon reaching the airport, there are already many others already claim their terrority and we were left with table and chairs. I managed to sleep awhile but it got really cold and uncomfortable to sleep that i came to blog. Haha. That why I am bored. Since I m bored. I should blog more but the keyboard is super un friendly. So i guess i shall stop here and i willl ty to update when i can. another 3hr to check in, 5 hr to departure. I guess i am starting to detest travelling when in norway. It is really tiring travelling to the airport with the cost attached. 1 - 2 hr to the airports (3 in oslo. current at torp whiich is the furthest) at a cost of arouundd 40 sgd per way. Super expensive. Maybe this would be my last trip out norway. I prefer train ride. Ok. Suddenly there is a sound of poppers! Scared the hell out of me. Lol. I know there was something. But I did not know it was then. Haha. Too distracted by alicia and fiona and jenna. Lol. In came Bernice, James, Yuan Sheng and Hualing. Stunned! Presented me a Paulova  A Card written by wax! I am amazed  And an apron handsewn my name by them. Haha. Photo Taking time with each of them. BBQ at Sognsvann Lake - Celebrating Bernice and mine birthday. Introducing Sognsvann Lake It was my first time there after been in norway for more than a month where all my other coursemates have been there for countless of them. So noobish. =x It was really beautiful but it was a very cold day that day that i did not really admire the scenery. Went back numb from the cold. Lol.   Home-made Pizza  Some of the food stuffs  BBQ in Progress...   Pork Chop! Very nice and tender!  Me on the "table" of food. Apparently there is no tables or chair around. So we have to made do with rocks and wood. The fire was started by using wood. Very nature like.  Group Photo!     Cheesecake made by me and jenna for bernice!  Had an enjoyable time except that the weather is too cold to be tolerated over long hours. Great food too. And of course, not forgetting the fun we all had. signing off... audrey at 8:12 AM The greatest birthday ever. Pre Birthday presents. Firstly, Zhen Chiang gave me a scarf / shawl that he knitted. (Sorry, no pictures) Really touched that he did that for me. I really appreciated that. Next, s13 girls and guys celebrated my birthday with great food and of cause great company. Thanks for the crumpler laptop bag!   Next up, my dearest secondary schoolmates gave me a cushion with our photos imprinted on it. So nice and sweet of them. =)  Fourthly, Hua ling make chocolate cornflakes and gave it to me and bernice as our birthday gifts. Really sweet of her. Really appreciate the effort.   Fifth, Kok Liang gave me a surprise by giving this casserole of "Ikea Meatball" Set that he prepared for me. Was really surprised and it is yummy! Another touching moment. Haha.   Last Surprise before my birthday... I received a parcel from Quan Jie. I am like omg lar. Haha. Quite shock actually as i did not expect it and it cost 18.70 sgd worht of postage. super paiseh. Initially i thought it was ailing as the handwrinting resemble hers. oops. Haha. In the end it isn't. Another touching moment. I am not forgotten! Lol. Thank you so much.    I was wondering what it was actually. Haha. I wasnt familiar with the characters. Haha. I was enlighten by alicia, fiona and jenna. =xIt is actually elmo disguised as cookie monster. =x   This year had been a blessed year for me. Meeting the right people who never fails to render me assistance whenever i need help. This goes out to Uncle Paul, Auntie Lindy, Mr Winston, and getting to know Hua Ling, Kok Liang and many others better. I feel so blessed. Thanks alot for making this year a memorable year.
